I’m not certain of the particulars but I was watching a exhibit the other morning and they pointed out that generally you can’t get access to the house until you’ve bought it and too there might be major hurt as the previous owner’s didn’t necessarily abandon on excellent terms – they either found themselves unable to keep up with repairs or else they purposely hurt the house in rage of being forced out.
Some thoughts to keep in mind..

The banks and lenders are more motivated to deal as opposed to the actual homeowners. They are more apt to do a small sale, fix the house up or offer a loan incentive. Lenders are in the money commerce not the genuine estate commerce. Homeowners take everything to personal lenders see at the foot line. There could be modern laws coming requiring lenders to keep up the foreclosed houses or face fines, that will motivate them even more to get rid of them. Fair question the lenders for a list of their REO’s (genuine estate owned)

Whether you live in the baltimore area( and I reckon you do) there is a modern releasepaper that fair came out on may 1 called”exibit a”. One of the articles is approximately foreclosed homes.
