For the maximum portion incomes are greater in OC versus the IE and those people probably have a better grasp of their finances. The IE want to be like the OC people so they purchase all of their fancy cars, toys, and plastic surgery on fairness and now they are up side down. I have no sympathy for them.
People went into the Inland Empire for cheaper housing and would be commuting to work. Now they are struggling with gas prices and mortgage prices, not to mention the growing costs of rapid track and wear and tear on their cars. That’s not too tough to figure out. They’re probably being reported more from wherever you got your information.
Your question does not make sense, as the foreclosures and sales in the Orange County area in California is fair as tall. I reckon your source is not reporting out the right numbers, or you possibly misunderstood. People as a entire are living way above their means in California. It’s fair they way we are.
By the way, I live in Orange County, California, and have been in genuine estate for 25+ years. I’ve been in California 32 years.
The foreclosures have been mostly in the outlying areas and in the lower price ranges. They are moving up in price which means that OC will have its share in the next 5 months..
